It all start way back in 2004, when the magazine began as a 3 hour show on online net radio station demandradio.
This was behind my record shop, Demand Records( which was opposite Cherwell cars in Banbury).
At the time the local music scene and talent in general was not being promoted enough,. finding out about DJ's / bands though the shop and the radio station/ shows, got the magazine process bubbling
So i began the show and then i began to print a magazine with the help of a few other people. Got on board three people, Josh ( photographer), Sally ( editor ) Abilgale ) reporter),that wanted i was doing, the same things. The began reviewing events, interview bands and band events.
The printed magazine lasted six months, then fell to the way side because the monthly release couldn't be kept up because of constant content delays and people on the magazine having other priorities.
After the shop closed on 2005(Sad dad), the radio show was relaunched under Revolution live in Febuary 2006, on Dark fm and Aftershock Radio. But always wanted a General music show which was not easy to find a place for on the net because there were a lot of one genre stations.
The i began to rebuild the website after starting my myspace magazine page and slowly putting content in and improoving things.
Ideas are always floating around, one of the was a TV channel. Ideas were floating around and getting round this problem. Then of course youtube come along and solved some of the problems. I then began filming DJ / band performances nd interviews.
Last year ( 2007) an opportunity come along in the form of recording podcasts, which is something was have been thinking of and one was to upload radio shows and audio specials. The company is called Aftershock promotions, who hold artist ( label), competition and tunes site, founded by scot ( soltice, Jay and carlito)
The last stumbling block of a General music show was finally solved with the launch in September 2007 bu Mitz and styler of dnb revolution radio. They wanted something different so i come on aboard.
Recently made contact with local label, Butterfly Music, which si run by Gary bellemy with the assistance of Zara ( Godiva on the label). Helping each other with promotion and promoting artists and webcasts are coming bacj ( at last with the help of Butterfly music.

Here at cmr magaazine, we are always trying to do a our best to promote talent, if you want to get on board/ sponser the magazine, then contact us ( above). Recently printed out flyer for promotional purposes also This has all gone extremely well so far, although financing the magazine is always a challenge. But it is a magazine and revenue is essentual for continuing improvements especially when cmr magazine want to host own video and music.
The magazine is always growing, finding talent, just like when bastain come over from the Netherlands to do the radio specialsto radio set ( efo) all the way from the Netherlands. This is what we are builing.
Gigs / Event are what is next for this new year.
